We are an imports company from South Africa - making use of Hellmann Logistics. Upon arrival of one container in the harbour we were informed that our approved account of R100000.00 for 30 days are not valid any more and we need to settle our account CIA (Cash in Advance). Isn't this just a great tactic - you say everything is in place and once the clients container arrive you inform them to settle the account in cash - this way the client is forced to pay the account. When we opened our container our stock were just thrown into the container - some of it not even packed in boxes. When we complained we just received arrogant mails stating that it is not their responsibility. Shocking shocking shocking service!!! Appalled!! I also had a discussion with the one manager or owner (not sure 'cause everybody is so important at this company) who promised to phone me back within 5 minutes - well needless to say we are now one week later and still no call!!!
