I have service my vehicle at different Mercedes outlets and have never come across the mess that you get when going to Canal Walk. There price for a quote on labor was more than double to replace a part on my Mercedes. I have replace the very same part before in JHB, and 1 hour labor was charged. Mercedes Canal Walk quote me almost 2 and half hour labor. I then went ahead to order the part and have it installed by another garage, who charged me half. The part I ask for was supplied and also a bracket which I did not ask for. The service adviser assured me that the bracket may be needed and that if i did not, I could bring it back for a refund. When i brought it back i was told that i could not get a refund straight away but that a cheque had to be issued. He told me Mercedes would call me and the cheque would be dropped off for me at home. Its been 3 weeks and i have heard nothing from them. I called this morning and now i am waiting for someone to call me back. They really have a problem at this branch. Since my first call to book my vehicle in its been confusion. The problem here at this branch is with training and communication between departments. Even the accounts department
