Volkswagen
VW 6 1.4 TSI 2012 - FActory Fault

Cars & Transport

At the end of March 2012 I took delivery of a brand new VW 6 1.4 TSI, however, from day one I experienced problems with the Headlights. This was then escalated and returned to the workshop on numerous occasions without any resolve. When my vehicle speedometer reached approximately 14000km technical problems started emerging i.e. loss of power, jerking, etc. The vehicle was then booked for a service which reported no fault, however, two weeks after the service the vehicle broke down. VW up to date cannot trace or resolve the issues at hand. I have been told by VW that the turbo, petrol pump, bogy cords, headlights, throttle sensor have been replaced. From all this it is crystal clear that the vehicle was damaged goods upon purchase and result I requested a new vehicle or full reimbursement as per Consumer Protection Act. Needless to say VW Midrand as well as VW SA refuses to comply to legislation as well my request as the consumer. At this point I have been threatened with legal action by the Service Manager, Jorge.

At this point I only want full reimbursement!!

Whom ever reads this article do not purchase any product from VW as their after sales and customer service is pathetic.
