We went away on a short break to Cape Town in September and booked our rental car through [URL Removed] who works in collaboration with Europcar.

We were ensured that our deposit will be refunded two days after the return of the rental. Three days after this date, we enquired what was the hold up.

First they claimed there was a scratch on the hub cap of the car. I wasn't responsible for this and no one checked the car with me before I left the Europcar parking bay. Then they let the claim go but said they had to refuel the car and take it for a Valet all calculating R1 000 more than the booking.

I refuelled the car before the return (which they NOW want proof of). After asking about the R600 valet, they mailed me photos of sea sand in the car. Then they claim that Kulula made a mistake in the booking. Nothing makes sense with them.
If we ask for something, they claim something new was wrong with the car! I took really good care of this rental vehicle as it was the first time for me.

I will never make the mistake to book a rental car with Europcar again! I am a travelling photographer and would rather pay a few rand more with a company that doesnt want to nail me so shameless!
