We bought a Big Boy scooter cash in February 2013 from Potchefstroom branch. Within three days the scooter broke down. Contacting the owners' wife, she said we had to pay R150 collection fee (we stay three blocks from their shop) and they will let us know how much it would cost to repair. Needless to say, I blew my top. ONLY when I wanted to cancel the deal with them and claim my monies back, did they agree to fetch the scooter and it was repaired at no cost. But we had to wait almost a week before we received the scooter back.
Within 4 weeks the scooter let my daughter down again. She took it in and had to pay for the battery and some fuses which "blew". Last week (at night) the scooter just stopped (failed to go forward or backward). We got the scooter home. Big boy collected it on Wednesday and we have not been able to contact ANY one at this branch. The doors are closed, they do not answer their phones. No messages of who to contact. This branch is really a bad reflection on Customer service for Big boy. My daughter is stranded. I am furious.
