Renault takes 3 weeks and cant fix my ca

On 24 September our Renault Modus was towed in for a Mechanical breakdown. It took a week and a half and a visit to get any response from them. It is now going for 3 weeks and they still dont know whats wrong with the car. They are suppose to be the renault specialists. We bought an extra warranty on the car which means this was suppose to be for free. (Did not happen. Warranty only covered part of the cost) We paid the rest but are still struggling without the car with my wife working shifts. All I need to know is when will you be able to fix the car... Green Renault Modus... VIN - VF1JP010533585065... Please help!!!
