Citroen owners beware!!!

I use my car for business purposes and starting with a new company I could not take a day off to get my car serviced for the last 60 000km service. On just under 63000 I call in to book an appointment for a service, and is informed that because it is 3 000km over 60 000 I lost my last service forming part of the service contract. How ridiculous is that! My previous 40 000 service was done on 43000 and there was no issue, not once did they inform me then that you have to bring your vehicle in BEFORE or ON 60 000 and anything over you lose your service!!! I was told it is written somewhere, but I checked the service book and unless it is hidden somewhere, I could NOT find any warning in there of the 60 000 km rule. I did not receive any other paperwork from the Citroen dealer where I bought the car a year ago... so where can this major important clause be???
I drive alot and 3000 km was done in a week! Something I did not plan, and something I could not prevent as in my life no car = no income! So if you are a Citroen owner, beware!!!
