An Opel Corsa was bought for R62, 150- but the retail value of this vehicle is R40, 500- as per the Auto Dealers Guide. Therefore it can only be insured for R40, 500- This was queried with Race view Motors and a valuation was requested as there may be extra`s. The reply was that they cannot give a valuation as there are no extra`s. If there is a claim for a total loss the client immediately loses R21, 650- This is a rip-off... shocking!! This over-charging shouldn`t be allowed!!!
Before you purchase a second-hand vehicle, first check the value as per the Auto Dealers Guide!!!
