Yesterday 1 October 2013 at around 10;00 am my husband wanted to fill up at the Engen Garage. So he pulled up next to the diesel tanks and waited for an attendee to assist him. The passenger went in to the shop, used the rest room and went too the convenience store to purchase items. When the passenger returned after about 10 minutes, the petrol attendees was still not at the vehicle to assist him. He kept waving at the group of attendees and asked them to come and help but still they didn't. They asked another attendee that was busy with another vehicle to help him. He told the attendee that he shouldn't come at that those that are standing there chatting should come help. In the mean while its been over 20 minutes standing there. (The petrol stations was very quiet, only 2 cars) One attendee came over to help, but when there came another car, looked my husband in the eyes and kept walking past him. So my husband went to the manager, explained the situation. The manager then went to the attendee to find out, his reason was, HE DOESNT SPEAK ENGLISH? We live in South Africa, the main language is ENGLISH. Why didn't the other attendee's then HELP? REALLY. PATHETIC EXCUSE
