Lack customer service, unreasonable return policy

On Saturday 7 September 2013, my wife and I went into the World of Accessories branch in Tyger Valley. Smelling money, the store manager (Hanno) was only too happy to help - it ended up that we purchased goods to the tune of R3600.00 and left happy. Exactly 2 weeks later we returned to the store wanting to return the goods, for personal reasons as is our right in accordance with the CPA.

Hanno was nowhere to be found and I was told by the salesman who have only just entered puberty that they could do nothing without checking with the General Manager, Hentie. Hentie told them to take the goods and tell me to hold on until Monday, I then attempted to call Hentie but my calls were ignored, eventually he answered but only because he thought his store was phoning, after a very confrontational call I was told that he was unable to do anything without getting consent from his Head Office and would call me himself on Monday.

Monday morning came but Hentie clearly did not have what it took to make the call himself, instead Hanno had appeared again to inform me that no refund was possible and that was it. When I informed Hanno that he had lost a customer he was nonchalant.

Poor poor.
