My vehicle was involved in a motor accident and when I received it back there were mechanical issues including the car overheating. The insurance sent the car to Hyundai Menlyn for investigation. We personally visited this branch on 2 occasions where we met with workshop staff who gave us one story and then gave the assessor another story which is now going to involve me paying for accident damage. Worse still Hyundai do not repair anything they just replace components and bill! The vehicle now has 2 invoices - One to be paid by me (it took me 6 days to get a copy of the invoice form the branch) and for a week we have been trying to get the insurances invoice made out correctly so the insurance can pay it. To date this has been unsuccessful.
Hyundai claim their policy is that they only release on payment. Standard procedure for insurance co's is to pay 30 days from invoice allowing the customer to ensure the job has been done correctly. Hyundai wont allow this.
So I cant get an invoice to give to the insurance for payment and when I do I will have to wait 30 days to get my vehicle!
