A PACKAGE WAS SENT TO ME ON THE 10 SEPT 2013 FROM AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND.
IT ARRIVED IN SOUTH AFRICA, DHL OFFICES ON THE 12 SEPT 2013. TRACKING # 2298571472
ON SUNDAY, 15 SEPT 2013, I RECEIVED A CALL FROM DHL REQUESTING MY IDENTITY NUMBER, WHICH I SUPPLIED.
I WAS ALSO ASKED FOR AN INVOICE. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY, BECAUSE THIS PACKAGE HAD BEEN PAID FOR IN AUCKLAND.
I CALLED DHL ON MONDAY, TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY REGARDING THE LOCATION OF THE PACKAGE, AS MY UNDERSTANDING OF "EXPRESS" MEANS FAST, QUICK DELIVERY.
I ENQUIRED AGAIN TODAY, 19 SEPT 2013, SPEAKING WITH KHOTHATSO MGWENYA IN CUSTOMER SERVICE, WHO ALSO CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY THE PARCEL STILL HAS NOT BEEN DISPATCHED, AND SHE ADVISED THAT IT IS STILL IN THE CUSTOMS AREA.
I URGENTLY NEED TO KNOW WHAT THE DELAY IS AS I HAVE NEED OF THE DOCUMENTS WHICH HAS BEEN SENT TO ME VERY URGENTLY.
PLEASE COULD YOU ESCALATE THIS QUERY TO THE MANAGEMENT OF DHL AS I CANNOT SEEM TO GET TO SPEAK TO ANYONE SENIOR TO GIVE ME AN EXPLANATION AS TO WHY I NEED TO WAIT, WHICH IS NOW 8 DAYS SINCE THE PACKAGE ARRIVED IN SA.
THIS SERVICE IS TOTALLY APPALLING ESPECIALLY IF IT HAS BEEN PREPAID FOR THE SERVICES REQUIRED. I NEED TO GET AN ANSWER TODAY.
