I purchased a brand new Golf 6 1.4 TSI from a dealership here in Sandton in July 2011, the dealership in question is Lindsay Saker Rivonia Road Branch. A few weeks post-purchase the car started to give some trouble with the clutch and a constant rattling noise which I was told was a problem with the fuel line. I have taken the vehicle in with this complaint many times from the year of purchase to date. I have always been told by this dealership that the problem was taken care of, however it recurred. The service at this dealership constantly deteriorated over time, where I as the client was constantly being overlooked, neglected and even flirted with by a previous Service Manager. I was also dealt with in a disrespectful manner by the Dealer Principal on a telecommunication, being shouted at. The lack of client relationship management and communication issues persist and are highly disappointing. I proceeded to call VW SA and relayed my story. The truth is now also being distorted by the management staff and I am constantly inconvenienced. It is shocking as a long time loyal client to be treated in this disrespectful manner. Very disappointing and needs to be dealt with.
