Constant break down for Audi A5

Cars & Transport

The matter refers to the constant breakdown of the Audi A5.

I have purchased an Audi A5 20.L Turbo in November 2010 brand new. However, towards the time for service which was before 15 000 km the malfunctioning engine and EPC lights went on. I immediately pull over and call Audi assist centre to seek clarity and the following was asked: (the area I am at, distance from my premises and the km reading of the vehicle) and I was advised to continue with the journey and that a recommended road side assist will fetch the vehicle at my premises. As a precautionary measure I again pursue clarity from the vehicle's manual book provided for and it explained that the engine is malfunctioning and one should drive not more than 60km per hour and I followed that.

It should be noted that mechanical breakdown of the vehicle had become a known fact as it happened every time is about to reach service dates i.e. 14 000 km, 28 00 km, 42 000 km and currently at 57 000 km. This then left me with no choice but conclude that it is a factory fault. In this regard the service provider from the dealer advised that at first it was something to do with burnt spark plug. Efforts have been made with Audi S
