Taking your patience to the limit

Cars & Transport

In Jan 2012 we took our Avanza to Steves after blowing headgasket 3 times in space of 3 months. They promised us that they will be able to fix our car. This cost us R20 000.Feb we got the car back and EM light wouldnt go off, no power on the car, irregular idling and vibration on the car. Took the car back and they fixed it, how they could give the car back in that state in the first place, puzzles me. Later we discovered car was leaking oil. and sludge was building up in the radiator. After battling to get an appointment, we phoned h/o and got app. to take the car back. It took a few weeks to get the car "FIXED". Only to find that sludge is still building up in radiator. Beginning Dec we took the car back and was reassured we will have the car back before we go on holiday on 21st Dec. Well we got the car back on the 21st when they closed. My husband drove the car and it blew gasket in space of an hr. They kept the car and said they can work on it after the holidays. Well we are still waitin. This is costing us to travel 3hrs back & forth, using someone els'car & now fixing costs R2000. Their feedback & communication is so poor. Waiting is all we've been doin. Ons is RAADOP!
