Renault South Africa
Cheated

Cars & Transport

I feel cheated by Renault Bryanston. It appears as if they have a scheme that swindles customers off their hard earned money. I have lost all trust and confidence in them and would never recommend anyone to them. I took in my car for regular A service on the on the 12th of May 2013 and the Diagnostic check revealed that the brake pads, air intake pipe and v belt had to be replaced. I had that done, but a few days later the car broke down, and I was given a totally new diagnostic which required replacement of injectors. I left the car with the suppliers for 3 months since I was hospitalised, today 28/08/2013 I went to settle my bill and collect my car. I couldn't even drive 2km from the garage the car sounded faulty and i drove back to the garage. Now they are telling me that the car needs a new turbo worth R27000. I feel like i am being taken for a ride, my car keeps developing problems once it leaves the garage and they always have a different diagnosis, and i have to keep digging deep into my pocket. Management was not forthcoming in clarifying the issue surrounding the fact that my car develops new problems after leaving the garage when it is meant to be fixed and driving well
