Q7 3.0TDi Quarttro sump damaged during service

Cars & Transport

Audi Q7 3. TDi was sent in for a service at Audi centre menlyn on Wednesday 7 August 2013. When the car came back I spotted oil on the floor where the car was parked, but did not believe that could belong to my car. On Thursday 8 August i noticed similar oil spot under the car, decided to call the dealership, Mr Deon Faber to be specific, who advised me to bring the car in at my convenience. On Friday 9 August, while i was driving to a filling station, I heard a burst sound under the car, stopped immediately and switched off the engine. After frustrating experience with Audi assist, I decided to call out my insurance company who assisted in towing the car to Audi Centre Rustenburg. I was later informed that a plug on the sump was damaged and that a new sump had been ordered. After 17 days, the car is still not fixed; whenever I call to track progress I get told someone will get back to me before end of business day after an investigation; courtesy car could not be allocated for me. Basically I'm frustrated, without a car, not sure who is paying for the damage.
