Dont want to fix car electric mirrors

Good morning
I bought a Polo 1.6 comfortline at Kristen motors on the 24 June 2013 the car had some problems wich they sorted for me i called them up this morning to tell them the electric mirrors arent working anymore and they did work but its not the fuse i had volkswagen look at the problem and they say its the switch, is this somthing i should sort out myself?
