Cmh Fiat West Rand
No Guarantee on CMH major service

After dealing with the branch with Bev Jonge Poerink the Service Manager of CMH Fiat Alfa Westrand at Cnr Hendrik Potgieter and Cascades Road, Little Falls and spending R30 000 for a Major Service and repair that they picked up.

I found that after almost five weeks later the Car starting making some strange sounds from the Engine and the right rear wheel. After a Motor Mechanic had a look at the car and found that the following:
- The engine noise was from a broken "Tensioner bearing" that caused the Cam belt to slip and promised to destroy the Engine if not replaced.( this would mean that with the R30000 Major service, The Cam Belt and "Tensioner bearing" was not changed).

- The right wheel break Calliper was fitted extremely tight that caused the Rear breaks to stay locked and would cause the calliper to lock in place and break the rear break disk.
This means that if left alone the car could be damaged again and more money spent or even a live would have been lost while driving a car that was suppose to have come out of a major service.
