I purchased a used vehicle from Cartique in Randburg on 19 July 2013. My trade-in was sold by Cartique to another dealer. The other dealer contacted me for a consent form to release the registration document for the trade-in from my finance institution. Among other things the dealer supplied me with a SARS VAT form with my signature on it which they got from Cartique. The form they supplied had a significantly different selling price to the form I actually signed. I confronted Cartique about this and after 3 different blatant about the matter, Roy dos Santos admitted that Cartique had forged the document with my signature but said it was no big deal and they did it all the time. Where I come from that's.

Also once the sale was concluded, Cartique gave me the spare key to the car I had purchased from them. The spare key was completely bent and the remote was non-functional. When I asked them to replace it they responded with "That's how we got it from the seller" and they were not prepared to do anything about it or compensate me for a replacement.

Cartique staff are not trustworthy and in my experience will go to criminal lengths to make a quick buck.
