Mercedes-Benz South Africa
Bad service with the intent to commit

Cars & Transport

I took my wife's A Class Mercedes back to the dealership in Pinetown for a windscreen sensor. I was told by the sales manager, Rudolph, that the windscreen was not original and that the light & rain sensor under the mirrors was faulty. He also mentioned the after market windscreen could have contributed to the problem. I walked out of Rudolphs office and he made a remark that I should get my insurers to pay. I walked outside & I started talking to a salesman by the name of Nad. he receive a call on his Telkom mobile & it was the dealer principle Azaad asking him if Mr. Styles is prepared to hit the windscreen of his wifes car so he could claim from insurance. I was totally shocked to think that the head of a dealership along with his staff suggested that I should break my wifes cars windscreen to get a new one. This in law is intent to commit. I would just like to add that my wifes vehicle has been back for minor repairs & major repairs on -8 occasions. I suggest to anyone who intends using this dealership to think twice before using this dealership.
