NSPCA's under warranty vehicles keep breaking down

Cars & Transport

What recourse do we have? Is there not an Ombudsman we can approach? Why does general Motors not give us the contact details of their MD so that we can appeal directly for assistance?
We have a situation of a Non Profit organisation purchasing three brand new vehicles which keep breaking down, causing ongoing expense. Having staff taken away from their duties is more than an inconvenience - it affects animals.
All 3 of the Chevrolet 1.4 utility vehicles (bakkies) purchased from Thorp Motors, Fish Hoek in August 2012 have given major problems, starting on Christmas Day 2012 when the reading on the vehicle which broke down was only 14 100km. This vehicle still only has 45 000km on the clock yet there have been continuous breakdowns and "unavailable parts."
A second Chevrolet bakkie, purchased at the same time is currently undergoing repairs in Oudtshoorn where it broke down, driven by an Inspector in our Farm Animal Protection Unit whilst on a field trip. The problem was fuel leakage.
We ask for assistance to enable us to publicise this totally unsatisfactory situation and to obtain help.
Will the MD of General Motors please contact us?
