Impressed of the High Standard Efficiency

Just before the Christmas Holidays, one of Gas lift Supports holding up the Tail Gate of my VW. Caddy, came adrift from the body of the vehicle. Being this time of the year when most industries & workshops were closing, I'd used a broomstick to do the job of the loose Gas lift Support (which was removed).
Using the broomstick became a hassle. The Local VW. a credited Dealership were able to assist as far as supply of new "Ball & Pin & the retaining Nut to be fitted behind the Body inside Panel"
Further, on the know how of fittings was out of their scope as Caddys were imported assembled.
Rather frustrated with this, as a non-technical owner, of cause I got well meaning opinions from various mechanical minded persons including "Internet Experts". Basically total confusion.
Solution, phoned VW.SA., Elvah Customer Care, very patiently listened, then got hold of the Service Manager at Travcor our local VW.Dealership. After listening asked me to meet with him with said Caddy.
Before ending our call, Elvah in a very acceptable manner asked me if she could "up date" their information on their Customer - Owner Data. I was impressed on their history data of Vehicle & Owner.
