We are a Pre-owned dealership in Pocthefstroom.
We sold n Audi it to one of our clients.
The vehicle is a 2009 Audi A5 2.0 FSI that comes standard with an 5Year / 100 000km Freeway plan.
The vehicle was serviced and inspected by:
Audi Sandton for its 15000km Service.
Audi Rivonia for its 30000km service.
Audi Klerksdorp for its 45000km service.
The vehicle was also by Audi in Klerksdorp after the 45000 service.
Our client toook the vehicle in for its 60000km at Klerksdorp, with no defects or problems with the vehicle.
The technician noticed that a chip installed into the vehicle and Audi SA Cancelled the Warranty and Maintenance plan on the vehicle.
Neither us or the current owner installed the the "Chip", which means that the chip was already installed by the previous owner, who sold the car meaning that the chip was there on basically every service done.
As a pre-owned dealership or the client aren't specialists and not even Audi picked it up on the vehicle previously.
It's not ethical by Audi to cancel the M/plan. There are only 1 Year left on the M/plan, we are willing to remove the Chip let Audi run tests on the vehicle and requesting to reinstate the M/plan.
