Threatening not to service my car

My car had to be towed in due to a malfunction, they tell me that it will take anything between 5-7 working days to fix it. They do not have any form of a courtesy car to give me during this period. I offered to go and collect part to try and cut down the amount of time I'm with out my car, but then got threatened that due to my attitude (which I am the customer and I'm entitled to have) that they would then not fix my car... I work in a service industry and know perfectly well that this is not acceptable. I am very frustrated and disappointed in the service there and it does not help being threatened when they know perfectly well that I can not drive my car anywhere with out doing more damage to it.
