AVOID THESE GUYS LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

I took my car to these guys just after the easter weekend, for a very basic service. I was advised that the service should cost in the region of R800. About 3 hours after I dropped my car off, I received a phone call to the effect that my car needed R14k worth of work!!! Trusting them, we eventually agreed on the most important work being done to the tune of R8k - got my car back 2 days later. It had no brakes. So I took it back. Brakes were about 25% better. I took to the manufacturer who restored my car back to working order which cost me an extra R11k. So from R800 to R19k over a 3 month period. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THESE GUYS, THEY STRIP YOUR CAR AND FIND EXTRA UNNECESSARY WORK TO DO. I'M NOT KIDDING WHEN I SAY MY CARS BRAKES WERE TRASHED. GOOD THING I DIDN'T GET THEM TO DO ALL THE WORK THEY WANTED TO DO - OTHERWISE I WOULDN'T HAVE A CAR LEFT.I have tried to talk to them about what happened, and was told that I violated the warranty etc. The purpose of this post, is to warn any person thinking of taking their car to these guys not to do it, take it to the manufacturer, they know what they are doing. - I won't get my money back, this I know - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
