My car was due for the 150000km service so I took it to Hyundai The Glen. I informed Thinus Nel that my main priority was for them to do the service (covered by service plan) & fix a bad oil leak. I live in a complex & was fined R200 for the leak last month. The service was done on the 30.07.2013 & I would collect my car on the 02.08.2013 which would give them enough time to fix the oil leak. Thinus phoned me on the 31st informing me that the oil leak was from the oil cap as per the workshop foreman & the brakes were almost due for renewal. I said that he must make sure as the oil leak was more NB than the brakes. They fixed the front & rear brakes & replaced the oil cap ( /- R3135.18) & said there was no oil leaking and i must bring it back to check in 500km. I drove my car from the Glen to my complex about 5km and when i parked checked under the car & it already had several drops of oil on the floor. Took the car back on 03.08.2013 and showed the foreman and he said to bring it back on Monday but how can i when they used the money for the oil leak on fixing the brakes which was not needed yet & could of waited another 2 months.
