Don't take other companies gas bottles

I took my empty gas bottle to my local BP garage on the conner of Voortrekker & Botha Rd in Vasco to swop which I regularly do. As the last time I went to them they were out of stock I went to Builders in Parowvallei for the swop. They had no problem taking the BP cylinder and giving me their Easigas bottle. But Rafel? (name something to that) said that BP's policy is they don't take in other companies bottles for exchange. This is after 6pm on Sunday 28/7/2013. BP you will not see me again with policies like that.
