Took our Fiesta for service on Monday, we had work trip to Nelspruit scheduled on Tuesday. complete list of repairs given to the service dep via phone on Friday @ booking & confirming the list on Monday in person At 2:40pm I was called to confirm the price of replacing brakes etc. At 4:50pm I received call stating car would not be ready for collection s they did not have a dipstick in stock.? Our dipstick handle was partly broken, still working. no reason to keep the car for an additional day, we stressed we needed the car in perfect running order before our trip to Nelspruit. I went to the dealership to see what the actual problem was. On arrival I was told my brakes were not replaced and it was not mentioned on the job card? why did they contact me then with a price? Then after a lot of confusion it was established that new front brakes were fitted, but not the recommended brakes!!! they were unorganized and clue less in the service dep. I confirmed that at least the broken dipstick was refitted. it was confirmed. on arrival at home it was discovered that there was NO DIPSTICK AND OIL all over engine. What if we took the trip to Nelspruit? Seized engine and probably our cost!
