Hyundai/Kia Menlyn takes its customers for a ride

A week ago I took my car in to the Menlyn branch, my back seatbelt could not retract, was told that a new part needs to be ordered and it should be here Monday past. Was told Annamarie from the warranties would be in touch. I called 6 times yesterday left several messages spent over R60 on calls to Annamerie with the an incompetent receptionist named Simone, who simply refused to convey any messages according to parts manager Andries. He informed me this attitude is nothing new, he then informed me the part is on back order and could take up to 3 weeks as its coming from Korea.

Day later, still no call from the Annamarie, I know have to make special arrangements and taking leave to ensure my kids are safe going to and school and going home. This branch has a notorious reputation of pathetic service and it seems that management is more than happy with it continuing as is.

This is one of several problems myself and friends have experienced since buying Hyundai, seems that services are Hyundai's speciality with all other part still in Korea. HYUNDAI IS ONE OF THE COMPANY'S LAST LIKELY TO REPLY TO HELLOPETER COMPLAINTS, SAYS ALOT, Will make sure my next car is GERMAN ONE.
