Unprofessional and incompetent

Desmond Makeketa from McCarthy Gezina phoned me telling me that they have the car that I was looking for available at the price that I was willing to pay (VW Caddy Maxi which are pretty rare and I was looking around for one at this price and condition for some time)

After our initial positive meeting my calls were never returned or answered. I went back a few days later in order to see what was going on. After waiting around for an hour I was finally helped and after finance was sorted out and everything was ready to go he told me that they already sold the car a few days ago without letting me know anything about it.

So the previous days I spent (when I could actually get through to him) talking with him he just never told me that they sold it, he told me that the bank was cleared and we can go ahead and never mentioned that he just went and sold it behind my back even though I reserved it. I took days off work in order to finalize the sale and I was "taken for a ride" in the wrong way.

McCarthy is supposed to have a higher level of professionalism and work ethic but after my experience I won't be using them again and will urge everyone I know not to use them at all.
