I am having a terrible experience with Aran Removals. I contracted for a small shipment to a holiday house in St Francis. I called Tom from Aran and specifically asked if delivery could be done the following week when I was there. He promised it would and I went ahead, and they fetched the items in a hurry on the Thursday 27th June.
After waiting for the week I was told the items were still in Jhb! Delivery was then promised for Monday, then Wednesday, then Thursday and then on my daughters birthday, Friday 12th July. I had arranged someone to take delivery at R350/hr but the delivery times kept changing and they eventually delivered at 7:30pm that night! My manager had gone off so only our security firm was there to let them in.
I then flew down to check and a set of cushions were not marked as delivered, and were missing and 2 specially wrapped fragile items were broken. Total value R4-5000. Tom has not accepted responsibility, won't answer calls, sends rude SMS.s, and won't send me the forms or details to make my claim..please help!
