I took my wifes 2009 Kia Cerato to the Kia branch in Tokai on Saturday 13 July 2013 as the passenger window has come loose and went skew on the motor, I needed to get this repaired or at least made straight temporarily as the car needed to be used (shops, going out etc) and this cannot be done with a half opened window.
Stepping into the showroom there was nobody present and there was absolute silence. It took a minute or 2 before someone came into sight to come and assist. Unfortunately the servicing department is off on a saturday so it could not be repaired, fair enough. However what I was disappointed in was that when I asked if someone could assist me just align the window into the rubber so that I could wind the window up to close it I was told that they cannot assist in that. Its a simple task and nobody can assist me, thats ridiculous! I asked another person in the back to assist, 'no we dont offer that service'. I walked out of the depot very disgruntled and did it myself in the parking lot, albeit with difficulty.
I have been very happy with the car thus far, but the service has been substandard!
