Cambelt

Cambelt and tensioner was changed on our car in January 2013, km was - 127 400. We just took our car to car time for a service on 27/06/2013 and was told that the cambelt was damaged due to the seals leaking. They said it was standard procedure for them to change the seals with the cambelt so that client couldn't turn around and say the cambelt is now damaged because seals weren't replaced. I would like to know if there is some kind of guarantee on your worksmanship as it is 6 months and 10 000 km later and a cambelt should last at least 75 000 km. It cost us just over R2 300.00 to fix in January, why should we incur this cost yet again because of poor workmanship?
