Factory closed??

I had a break-in at home and the robbers broke into my car using the back passanger window as entrance. I contacted the police and insuranre and even PG glass. It is now 2 and a half weeks since the incident and the window still hasn't arrived from Nissan. PG glass tells me that the factory is closed. Who closes a factory in the middle of the year and without any warning to the customers. I am driving arounf with an un-safe car, that anyone can gain access to and I'm actually not sure how much longer am I suppose to wait.
