I hired a vehicle on the 15/6/13 at 8am for a period of 5 days to 20/6/13 8am. I returned the vehicle on the 20th at 7.50am. The rep came outside, checked the vehicle, gave the ok thank you very much. On the 22/6/13 I received an invoice from Europcar for an additional days rental and stated that i returned the vehicle at 9.50am. I immediately contacted the call center which was a Saturday morning and was informed that the customer service department does not work on weekends and that I would have to wait until Monday. I then called the branch itself and spoke to Sipokazi. I explained my situation and she said she will check and call me back. 2hrs later she called me back and said according to their records I had returned the vehicle at 9.50am. I told her that this was impossible and how can she prove this when the client does not even ask to sign the time in that the vehicle gets returned. She said she will check when the vehicle was returned to their parking area. She called back 10 mins later apologizing stating that the vehicle had in fact been returned at 8am. She said that the invoice would be rectified. To date I have received no new invoice and my c card debited addi R1023.
