Late for collection and non-delivery of services

Absolutely disgusted at the conduct of Candice, Shaun and Johannesburg Movers for our move on 31-May. We had signed a contract, agreeing to collect our furniture at 9:00. Candice called me around 8:50 to inform me the truck was running "a little late", which I still thanked her for informing me. 2.5 hours later, the truck had still not arrived & by this time Candice was avoiding both mine and my husband's calls, smses and voicemails. While their T&Cs document states "all times given are estimated times of arrival and may vary between 2-3 hours.", the truck eventually arrived 6.5 hours later at 15:30. We had also paid for a shuttle vehicle due to size restrictions at our new complex and for protective wraping of our couches - neither of these had been delivered and till today, the company/ Candice has ignored all my emails requesting a refund. This company is clearly operating outside the bounds of the Consumer Protection Act and needs to be shut down! I will be opening up a formal complaint with the National Consumer Commissioner as my attempts to resolve this amicably and directly with them have failed.
