LATE movers

Our (very small) residential move was scheduled for between 14h00 and 15h00 on Friday, 31 May 2013. this was done because the new tenant was moving into the premises on Friday evening. Long story short, after numerous phone calls and empty promises the moving van showed up at 21h00. We paid R2200 to move 2 bedroom flat from Vredekloof Brackenfell to Protea Heigths Brackenfell, the moving truck was 6 hours late, and needless to say the new tenant could not move in as planned, and we ended up paying for her to stay in a B&B on Friday night, because the inconvenience was caused by our movers. We paid the full amount for the move upfront. Once the movers arrived the service was good, but a little too late, and as a sign of courtesy I think we, as the client, deserve some sort of discount for the inconvenience caused. Once of the movers actually told me to report the incident on Hello Peter. Look forward to hearing from you in this regard.
