4 Week waiting period for a basic Bumper -Pathetic

How is it possible for a CAR manufacturer that markets itself as a premium vehicle to be out of stock on the most basic of spare parts (bumper and Fender) and to then expect me to wait in excess of 4 weeks for these parts to get shipped in.
I honestly do not know what is worst, the unlicensed taxi driver that drove into me or the fact that a brand that I have driven and trusted for more than 15 years does not even have a bumper and fender for a three series in stock.? Pathetic!!! Time to change - I think

People should know what pathetic service and no care attitude they are buying into.
