4 weeks later, still no car and no resolution!!!

I have had no car since the 28 April 2013.

Barloworld has failed to assist me with my motor vehicle problem. They refuse to admit liability on their part for the pre-existing problems of the car.

Instead, I have been told more misrepresentations and have been accused of "abusing" the vehicle I purchased from them. They allege that all the lights I contest have been on since the purchase of the car, have been on only long after purchase and are due to my alleged "abuse" of the vehicle.

I cannot deal with anyone at that office anymore.

Further, I have not been provided with some of the requested documents, which would illustrate no liability on their part. This is undoubtedly a contravention of PAIA, as it is in fact my legal right to attain such documents.

The level of unethical behaviour and non-compliance with their own code of conduct as well as society's moral standards is both appalling and contrary to public policy.

I will be forwarding my complaint to the Motor Industry Ombudsman as well as the Consumer Commission, as previously stated to Barloworld.

I will also be seeking legal advice and ascertain whether the institution of legal proceedings are in order.
