Stuff Happens - Its how you deal with it

I took my vehicle to Kwik Fit Pinetwon to have a regualr wheeel balalcing. On the previous visit a wheel nut had been cross threaded. The damaged stud was dicovered on this visit. The nut and stud were replaceded at Kwik Fit's expence and I was not charged for the wheel balancing either. No arguements - no fuss.
