Yesterday morning I booked my car in hyundai SA Cape Town for a manufacturer default to be fixed. I bought the car two weeks ago at this same branch. At 16:30 I went back to Hyundai to collect the car. We could not find my car on the floor and then realised that they had given the car out as a courtesy car for the day. When addressing the situation hyundai solution was for me to take one of the reps who lived in my areas car which then caused issues between the sales rep as the sales rep would then not have a lift home. This was done in an unprofessional manner and did not resolve the issue. When the man who had the car was contacted he was unable to bring it back at that time due to his own transport reasons. I requested that when the car came back the petrol that was used needed to be replaced and when I received the car after 18:00 the petrol was not replaced an the initial default problem for which the car had been booked in for was still not fixed, nor did I receive any kind of formal apology. I am disappointed in the negligence and handling of this situation, where procedure should have been conducted.
