Mercedez keeps car for 6 weeks... and still countin

My mother's car broke down in Montrose, Harrismith on her way back to Johannesburg on 1 April 2013. MB reacted very quickly, came and towed the car to Mercedes in Bethlehem where they indicated they would have the car back to us soon. They provided a courtesy rental car for the next 4 days. The good service pretty much ended there. Since then, there has been nothing but stories, and still there is no car.

My mother is a pensioner, and I work full-time, this means she has to take public transport to her work when I am not able to take her. When I bought this car I thought I was signing her up to a luxury brand, but now I am disappointed, and just embarrassed about this whole thing. I'm not sure i'll be coming back to Mercedes.
