VW environmental concerns in Table View

I sent a complaint to VW 2 weeks ago and have yet to receive a response. Here's what I said:

I live in Table View, Cape Town, near the VW Motorport next to Bayside Centre (on the corner of Raats Drive and Blouberg Road) and I have recently discovered that they are doing spray-painting work from this facility.

As this is a residential area and indeed situated next to a McDonalds and a Medi-cross, I believe that they should not be allowed to do this. Friends of mine have told me that they can smell fumes in this area. After finding out that they are spray painting there, I think these fumes could be coming from VW Motorport.

Table View residents (as reported by our doctors at Medi-Cross) already suffer with severe allergies brought on by the vlei and Caltex plant refinery and many are asthma sufferers. Spraying paint with chemicals into the air will only add to our health and environmental concerns.

Please can you urgently investigate this matter as I cannot imagine that an environmentally responsible brand such as VW would endorse this activity.
