Debonairs Pizza
I'd like to order pizza..without bread tags please

Cafes, Bars, Restaurants

Last night between 18:00 and 19:00 I purchased one large club pizza and a large tikka chicken sub from Debonairs in Alberton Crossing. Halfway through my boyfriends tikka chicken sub, he had bitten into a bread loaf tag (those little plastic things that hold the bread closed to keep it fresh). It had clearly been inside the sub during the pizza making process. So I would like to know who the is to blame for this?? The store? The suppliers? I also think that this could pose a health risk in some way or another. So far my boyfriend has not suffered from food poisoning; however he could have choked on the piece of plastic and the night could've ended very badly. I have kept the tag as proof; however I no longer have the slip as I threw it away in the dustbin outside of the pizzeria on my way to the car. I did swipe my card to make the purchase so I do have some sort of proof of purchase. I'd like to know how this will be prevented in future? Because at the moment I get the feeling that this particular store is quite careless and they clearly have a total disregard for all hygiene practices.
