Carnivore Restaurant
Disappointing third world experience

My son's family took my wife & I to Carnivore because we (used to) enjoy eating there. There was a special for 1st April that included chocolate eggs, an Easter egg hunt, jumping castle and reduced price per head. When we got there, there was no jumping castle to be seen and we were told there was no Easter egg hunt. My son insisted on seeing the manager and after 30 minutes my daughter-in-law had to ask again to see him.

When the manager eventually graced us with his presence he conceded that the advertisement was misleading, and that we had been brought there under false presences. After our complaint they inflated the jumping castle, but to get there the children had to pass through a group of people smoking at the door (this is illegal!) and navigate a set of steps with a gaping crater it the bottom. Still no Easter egg hunt and to make matters worse when the bill arrived, my son had been charged the normal price (not the special offer price). I would also like to have seen the 15 meats they claim is a minimum.

Would you support a restaurant that treats its customers like this? So much for their claim of being "Africa's greatest eating experience".
