Last Monday, my husband and I visited Kai Thai for a quick, early dinner. I enjoyed the Vegeterian Curry (yellow) and basmati jasmine rice while my husband ordered the Crispy Duck dish with extra vegetables and egg noodles. Approximately at 7 pm that evening I became violently sick with uncontrolled throwing up and diarrhea which persisted right through the first part of the night, until I had lost consciousness. My husband took me to Sandton Clinic at approximately 12:30 where a drip was immediately placed and medication given to me intravenously. The doctor informed my husband that I had a severe case of food poisoning.
