Stale food served

My boyfriend and I are huge fans of Vida, and are regular customers. However last weekend we ordered food and coffees from Vida in Gateway and when the food came it was completely unedible. The brownie was so stale the icing was starting to turn grey, and when I bit into it it was so stale and crumbly it was disgusting. My boyfriend had a bagle and that was also stale and really bland. We had to send it back, and we were told we couldn't get a refund we had to choose something else. Why would I choose ore stale food, so we ended up just leaving it! I know the food is not made on site, so if you can't manage to serve fresh, tasty food I think you should stick to coffee instead of wasting your customers' money. I definitely will not be ordering food from Vida again.
