Horrific service and not specifying allergens

Had a meal there this evening and the pizzas were amazing. However, the waitress was non-existant! Had to wait over 30mins for a glass of water, and ages just to order. Then came dessert: I order based on what did not say it contained nuts because I am highly allergic. The dessert comes and I have a bit only to discover nuts are a key ingredient. Fortunately I only took 1 bite so the reaction wasn't too bad. All management did was tell us they were changing menus and would ensure nuts were specified. Surely that is not a real resolution? By not specifying they could have resulted in me getting seriously ill. When they kill someone will they also just apologize??
