I made an email booking on the 4th of Feb for Valentines day, upon not receiving any confirmation call or email, I called Daruma on the 6th Feb to make a booking and was then told about the two different seating times, I confirmed for the 8pm seating and repeated my details 3 times to the lady. After rushing from work to make the 8pm booking, we were told at the entrance (after standing in a long queue to get in) that they didnt have us down on their list. We were then discarded to sit at the sushi bar until they found us a table, no one attended to us for 45 mins, we were waiting while they were busy seating other customers. If I didn't flag down one of the managers to find out what was happening, I think we would have been ignored the entire evening. Eventually, we were seated and then had to wait a further 15 mins for a waiter to even greet us at the table, needless to say, we only received our supper at 10pm. Thanks for a bad valentines day supper, Daruma, don't forget that great food makes a restaurant good but great customer service makes a restaurant excellent, our experience was far from excellent.
